Hi all, long time lurker, very rare poster (spend a lot of time on here when 'interesting weather' is forecast however.) Just thought I'd weigh in and point out that tonight, not for the first time, IMBY has gotten far more snow when not actually under any kind of Met Office warning than many times they've put a warning out. Oh well, tonight has been a nice surprise even if it is just a few cm :D

Stedy light snow continuing here. There must have been another heavy burst before as my dusting is now coming up on half an inch.

There's a nice layer down now that is probably already frozen, one or two more showers like that in the night and we should wake to a nice covering. That's it for me tonight, will be up early tomorrow though lol. :good:

Pretty much been lucky... snow on and off allday.... this morning/lunchtime pretty heavy, lightish stuff until 5/6pm... then a few heavy/mostly light showers but lots of drifting....strong winds

It is awesome to have complete cloud cover, snowfall and subzero temperatures at the same time!

The kind of weather that Iceland gets in winter.
