If you look at the precipitation charts of the various models, you will see that Monday was not expected to give anything significant other than a few flurries, mainly in the east. It is in the next few days that more potent showers are expected and again eastern areas getting most of those.

Yes, I've been surprised to see any falling snow at all. Mind you, it's frustrating to sit at my desk and watch Dovestones going misty and occasionally disappearing, then it all fades away before it reaches the city centre.

Nice view! To be honest even if they showers were a bit more intense they wouldn't settle in the middle of the afternoon. The God awful sun is too strong.

The updated Icon brings the precipitation in the southern parts of our region, in the early morning. Not much change from the earlier output.

Or it's only Monday!

Odd snow flurry - that wind definately seems to be getting colder. Night shift tonight so will be watching with interest

This is way too optimistic!

John Hammond tweeted it, I have a lot of respect for him.

I hope it is right but I doubt it.

Anyway, the Aprege has the band of snow in a similar location to the icon, maybe slightly further south.

Aye but it closed and was privately bought. There is talk of reopeing due to demand. Would be nice if it did as it's a nice walk

APREGE 12z is bulls eye for tomorrow morning- again, high res model should not be far out at 18 hours..

Fingers crossed, if any region deserves a change of luck, its ours!!

Well thats the very definition of on a knife edge !!

Will wait and see what happens the amount of times the forecast has changed today i'd still say its not nailed on.  Looks good for those to the east and south of the region though

Yes the whole week is chopping & changing by the minute, that low for Tues seems extremely unpredictable let alone anything past that!
