The crew are preparing to remove this winters obstacle, namely the M4, explosives at the ready!

It came to light all those lucky talismans I got the crew to plant along the entire length were facing the wrong way round. Evidence proves they've worked supremely well so I've employed a team of professionals to turn them to face the right way round. I'm hoping their magic hasn't been worn out and wasted already or I'll be looking for volunteers to make the next batch.

Clear skies all day until the evening where it drizzled for a bit and clouded over. Also a nice - 1.5C frost this morning.

Still dry here. Actually managed to get some of the veg garden dug today, a bit heavy going though, the ground's very wet.

Now you mention it I've just noticed it's quite windy here. First time I've heard the wind gusting for a few days after that long spell of windier weather.

I think I must have my non Wintry glasses on again.

While it is going to turn colder, I only see the favoured places (high ground, North of the M4, east coast etc etc)seeing snow again. Here in the South west it looks at best chilly with a few frosts.

You need a dose of the good ol' MAD thread to inject some optimism :whistling:

I'm sure some one some where will snow out of the cold setup, not holding my breath for us down here though.

The MAD thread are full of beans today!

I see someone from North Somerset has entered the MAD thread, I want to tell them to get out of there before they rip them apart. The MAD thread don't understand the misery we've had to endure this WINTER

I actually want dry/cold for work purposes 12th-16th Feb and to dry everything out! Snow/ice on the ground wouldn't be helpful until the 17th!! Then it can turn to Narnia!!

Not been in Mod thread yet, but that ECM run is a southerners dream! Boy do we deserve it.

I’m going in :spiteful:

Morning NK. Well I have to agree but depends on which app.

BBC weather app is about to lose data from UKMO but gain data from GFS.......I know laughable.  There are two versions running online currently. The UKMO version suggests dry cold next week, the GFS versions suggests wintery stuff over the moor all next week. Take your choice.............................but as a caveat on the GFS version it suggests sleet and snow at princetown when the temperature is at 6c................I'll just leave it there.
