Just noticed it’s still quite light at 17:40. Springs coming...or is it? :spiteful:

Fully expected by those us who were thinking along the lines  that maybe the models didn't have a handle on how things would pan out after the ssw got underway :D

Hail..

caesar?

the MAD thread is in fine form tonight, utterly pointless one liners and ramps makes the decent posts hard to find......to be honest, I just look at the mid range models and make my own mind up and keep it to myself........for close range model output I just read Knocker's posts, clear, concise, and to the point

Ok, I’ve just staggered out of the MAD thread feeling all light headed and woozy. Like I’ve been on an all day session.

Oh my god. I must not get excited! Do you think this winter may go down in history?

Im going to sober up before I do something I regret.... like stockpile rock salt or something.

The wife said to me this evening “it’s warming up I might put some plants in the beds this weekend ready for spring” I just laughed and said “ I wouldn’t advise that, and that, and you’re not allowed to ask me any questions”.

Her reply, “oh great, we’re going on holiday then”

shes going on her own, I’m not risking that! :nonono:

You don't want to do a @Nights King:rofl:

Speaking of which, it looks like he might get his wish of nothing happening until he's back.

When it snowed this morning my husband phoned me from work to tell me - in case I hadn’t noticed (haha as if!!) - I could tell he was secretly excited though.... I’m not telling them.. let them be the ones with egg on their faces

I told my wife the vortex has split last night and things were going to become interesting. It was met with whooo its winter, it could be cold and a level of sarcasm I didn’t know she had in her.  I gave up trying to explain, put the whiteboard away and went to bed. Today I got my own back and made a toilet destroying chilli :-)

Similar just now with my dad. He said it's coming milder after midweek and I just said 'for now'.

Have I missed something ? The warning for tomorrow over south west only now mentions wind and rain? Am sure there was mention of snow in an earlier update or was I just blissfully dreaming..
