Aww come on festvalking, I'm sure it will snow tomorrow. I've had a fair bit on my side of the Moor recently. Was walking in it yesterday! Looks good for Friday and Sunday and even better for the week of the 20th.

Might do early doors yes, alas I'll be in work. Sunday morning is looking good for some snow showers up at Princetown height. Could take the dog up that way for a walk!

We have not much this side, a quick flurry on Tuesday and that was it.

20th is a long way away but it certainly can't be discounted. I really would like a bit of snow cover seeing as my sister law had a fair bit (well for this thread below the M4 anyway) in Cornwall this week!!!!

Haven’t the last 2 SSW events delivered cold to the UK?......... 2 out of 3 will deliver cold to the UK they say right :help:

Got down below freezing earlier in the night but temperature has steadily risen since with the advancement of the front.

I've noticed the BBC graphics more readily showing snow, whether that's because Friday and Sunday could well produce some I don't know, but I'm hoping for some wintry showers over the next few days.

By far the coldest night of the winter last night with a low of -3.6°C. After the last few cold and sunny days it’s milder and cloudier now.

Having peaked @  7.6°C at: 11:27 temperature has dropped back slightly as the cloud has now rolled in , oh a quick check out the window on the world. it's raining. Warmer weather arrives with it's guaranteed rainfall..

SSW stands for Sudden Stratospheric warming.......apart from our region in the winter months, where it stands for 'Scorching South West' lol

OK so who's making an aaarse of themselves today?

Anyone trying to put credence on a +300 chart! Many many people LOL ? given the current setup, I fear it’s futile....even more so than normal.

Wouldnt catch me doing a thing like that :nonono:

@Mapantz did you noticed the sudden rise and fall of temperature and humidity/wind between 11:15 & 11:45 this morning?

Nothing out of the ordinary that I can see on my graphs, Db.
