After a 12.5c dry day yesterday and occasional sunny periods through some grey cloud passing over, it was still 10c at midnight, dropping to 9.5c at 3am.
10.4c, light grey this morning, still dry, WSW 8-12mph
Looks to be a bit windier later with some 30-40mph winds come lunchtime as the wind turns NW and colder.

Typical Plymouth weather here today, breezy sea mist raining and mild. I do hope we get some north based weather soon not for cold just so its dry!

The fronts just passed through here and now it’s brightening up. Not much rain from it though, just 0.4mm.

Snap, 0.4mm of rain here too, just a drizzle for a few hours this afternoon.
Did have a fair few 25-30mph gusts this afternoon, 15-20mph WSW wind and moving WNW.
A high of 11.2c at 1:30pm, now 9.9c and 10mph WNW wind.

The heights of our excitements this winter seem to be passing cold fronts and the prospect of a frost... desperate times indeed.. ?‍♂️

If that’s the case we’d better be excited about tonight since there’s a chance of a frost. Only taken until 29th January to potentially see a frost this month.

When are we going to get a dry day?

Tomorrow's likely dry day has downgraded to a damp late afternoon and evening. That's 3 days out of 5 (last Friday and yesterday being the other 2) which have been looking dry until the day before and it most certainly won't be dry on Wednesday to Saturday inclusive!

What’s going on... do I detect a sleet symbol on the forecast for Thursday morn?

I hate to say it but i have all but given up on this winter seeing anything now although im also out of country for week from 12th just dont see it happening now.

Noticed this evening driving home that there was a glimmer of light early evening, with the slow but steady increase in suns power (which in itself is nice to see after the gloom) the clock is ticking but dont worry spring and summer will be just as pants.

Can't work out whether the MAD threads in a positive or negative mood this evening. :unknw:

3.9°C now and dropping at a steady rate, heading towards at least a ground frost if it keeps going like this.

-1.3c, only took 30 days of 2018 to get there

could be a few more of them on the cards for February though, I’ll take some nice hard frosts if we can’t get snow.
