Found it strange that they are still mentioning it as a chance going by the comments on here it looks like a bust?

Carol Kirkwoods forecast on BBC there.

The graphics behind her showed almost nothing by way of showers today and tomorrow and she didnt even mention NI, it did show streamers into RoI though.

Also, it did show snow extending into NI on Friday.

I have never seen so much snow in my life like today,I was trying to reach my friend who lives in  Manor Kilbride on Sally gap road(Wicklow Mountains)  to give him a lift to the shops as he spent last

Lovely record breaking morning from West Wicklow, we have got an inch or two on the ground

But but but... Who'd collect for the many charities, or sing in the gospel choir on Sunday mornings? What happened out there was premeditated looting. It's disgraceful. Shocking and abusing the f

I havnt seen models just taking it as a bust as most here are saying it ain’t happening. Met text doesn’t mention it so I guess it’s accurate.

The graphics behind Barra Best there looked pathetic.

Very scattered snow showers and up to 6 degrees by Monday.

    Very disappointing :(
The cold itself is impressive - minus 3 this morning and no frost anywhere because the air is so dry - don't see that too often. Dew point of -9 too !
But what I really want is lots of snow - is that too much to ask?!

indeed. My 32 year old inner child is sulking at the troposphere. Look at the streamers now kicking in on East coast of England and Scotland though, it has certainly increased dramatically for them today.

Aye. Breaks your heart how they dissipate when they reach Galloway and Cumbria.

Maybe a flake or two will make it here.

Told ye North West is best ?

You're right there, Donegal has seen more "No" than us in an Easterly. Oh my days.

It’s a bust in Bangor. Not a flake. -2 and D/P is -9. Nice and cold but bone dry. Bring back the north westerly ???

NWly's just give me pain. Gave nothing but a dusting this year! I'm getting annoyed by this "cold spell" and the BBC of course hyping and dramatizing things.

Hopefully later we get the ppn passing over Scotland, things moving a bit more easterly this morning.

All the forecasts are over the place at the minute, still no confirmation yet, that I can see, about Thursday into Friday.

    Lol.

North Easterly is the problem. Winds will turn more Easterly around lunchtime so maybe see an improvement then

anyone else hitting F5 on the keyboard every 2 mins while watching the radar, even though they know it only updates every 5 mins?

Really hope these Scottish showers reach us, bit of convection over the short distance of irish sea......then get an early day home from work :D

The NW’ly Only gave a cm or two for us but it’s a cm or two more than the “Beast from the East” has produced ???

Rochey’s getting his revenge at last after suffering through all our snow reports for the past 8 years.

Thing is he’ll get the same amount in the next few days as we’ve had the past 8 years!!

Wind really picking up here.  There was a slight dusting last night.  I've got everything crossed today.
