I have no doubt I'll miss out on all the fun because that's just my luck lol .... spent the last week getting excited only for snow showers to surround me but not over me...I can literally see the snow lying on other side of town on my way to work lol ... tomorrow and Friday I think will be my last chance for the season .... so weird - my area is usually one of the worst hit because of its elevation - but definitely not in this set up ?

Im at the point where I just have to laugh now ?

Please come to Mallusk lol — my parents and sis live few streets away from you so my Sis will be loving it. Nothing here - dry as a bone

Think the red warning from met ie a bit over the top. I've had work up here in the north west cancelled as a result.... won't be happy if I'm here this time tomorrow looking at the same starry sky as I am tonight!!

Agree. The heavy snow that would justify a red warning is only likely to begin in the south of the island tomorrow afternoon/evening, Even if it makes it this far north, it will be well after the working day.

A blanket red warning for the country is just stupid and will just cause people to be skeptical in the future.

A Streamer has formed and hitting just 1 mile away from me...sooo close. Just a little movement North.

In on the action now. Although isn't snow supposed to fall. It seems to be going upwards. Small, floaty flakes atm. Sounds like a cereal brand....

Heaving it down up here, piling in

As for Friday's snow, I'm still non the wiser. GFS 0z says yes, Met text says no.
