Don't know why it's only turned to snow now, don't know what's different between now and 30 mins ago, no change in temperature. But i'm out now.

Sure just be thankful you have snow now and enjoy it! Some of us don't get any snow at all.

Aye, I know. I go to university in Southern England, it's hilarious how they react to snow. We had a few sugar dustings in December and a number of people were outside dancing around in the grass. Unbelievable.

Well what is rare has its own charm. I had two snow days where i live - which is rare for London in one winter! Although, I do live about 250 foot above sea level.

Yes, we just missed out on that event where I was.

But it does make me appreciate the fact that we do get snow at least a few times a winter here. It really is horrendous there for snow, I mean horrendous.

Think this will be a damp squid to be fair. Not expecting much at all. Certainly a bit of a over reaction in their forecast. Again!

Showers dying well before reaching here.  I guess we'll know by lunchtime whether the forecast was poor or not.

Well it’s looking poor as radar doesn’t look to good at mo. Time will tell. Updated met office video forecast this morning looks quite good mind you

Cecilia was very sure that there would be showers making their way South and East so chin up guys we are still fighting.  Thinking back it's been a decent wintry week for a lot of us up here, if you didn't get it in your back garden you didn't have far to go to see it. Reckon @Sperrin did the best out of us. I know Pomeroy has been white all week, anyway some pics from this morning's journe5

you must be getting pasted with that shower up there at the moment. I'm hoping it holds together before it reaches here!

This has been an epic week for me, at least another 3 inches last night. Car was bare at bedtime and there are drifts all around it this morning. Snowing really heavily now too!

Hopefully get a nice we covering if it holds together. Think it should

ps. It’s going to feel tropical by Sunday and a good part of next week. Not a bad thing really after this cold week then who knows what will happen after that
