 Just light rain. It was always going to start as rain here; we need to see what evaporative cooling does. Temp already falling.

Amazing how still it is outside. If the heavier precipitation can make it, we might just be in business.

I'm far from convinced but i will be happy to see some snow :)

This is starting to look very promising. Amazing how it has intensified over land. Was not expecting that.

The band looks further north than the models were suggesting. I think the lack of wind will help us see some falling snow.

Looks very pink on the radar as it approaches manchester!!!

Got our standard 1cm overnight but at least it doesn’t look like melting anytime soon and hopefully will have some more added when that area reaches us in the next few minutes.

providing it reaches here and is snow when it does.

I think it is going to slide pass to the north of Greater Manchester, unless it develops further south.

Doesn't seem to be sliding NW to SE as you expect, there seems to be quite a westerly component.
