More of a steadier Eastwards push on this batch? Or is it going to slide      South-Eastwards?

S.....oaking rain.

Just wondering if that heavier stuff has the legs to make it to Greater Manchester/ Peakyshire

It will make the southern half of the region... However it's current intensity is being driven by relatively warm water so it it's intensity will rapidly decrease as it heads inland

Hoping so. However, probably all in vain given that it will probably be rain!

Not a breath of wind out there. Will evaporative cooling play a role and help our chances? Then again, I doubt the precipitation will be intense enough by the time it reaches here.

No sorry.

Elevation is going to play a part for us too tho.

Yes, definitely. I am expecting 300m+ probably needed for proper snow.

It will reach here, but I think will be light and patchy.

I reckon 150 m, dropping perhaps to sea-level in heavy precipitation.
