Keeping a beady eye on the Scottish weather thread.

Appears quite serious amounts of snow falling and absolute traffic chaos. Hopefully a sign of whats to come tonight; if so our local gritters better be out.

Flakes blowing around now, the greens seem to be turning pink just as they reach this locale but the showers are so few and far between and its very wet so absolutely no chance of anything sticking.

We will need a massive injection of life into the radar after dinner time.

Beginning to look like euro4 was right afterall.

Just sleet and hail here. These showers needs to get organised and prolonged here for snow!!

Everything that stuck before have melted now. :(

Have to say the Radar returns are disappointing.

We’ll start seeing showers like that once the colder air and steeper lapse rates arrive this afternoon.

Everything that is falling from the sky is snow. The problem is there is hardly anything falling, just a few flakes in the breeze. Still a covering of hail on my roof light from 4am this morning
