 Just got a Blitz alarm. I wasn’t listening out!!!  Looks like a few sferics from an active cell.

Now One on the Wirral.

Lightning towards Woodhead pass and distant lightning to my West looking towards Mottram.

Brightest flash of lightning to the south west of me in ashton u lyne. No thunder thou.

N/W really need to fix the radar, its shown the precip pink over my house over the last hour, and its hail and rain, very suprised FG hasn't seen snow yet..

5.4C here with dew point at 3.7C temp has actually risen 0.6C in the last hour......I've feeling I may miss out here, expecting rain/sleet the next couple of days (as per most of the apps) .......anything else is a bonus!

Definitely see the strikes from where I am north of Buxton looking towards Woodhead, plane diving over low atm heading straight into the airport.

 Really annoyed now. I could have counted that as a thunder day if I had been listening. Can’t confirm I would’ve heard it though so not counting it.

Must have been 20+ flashes over the Pennines and managed some thunder. very active
