Rain IMBY too peeps,

Looks like Midlands the sweet spot..

Much is to do with the intensity. Heavy snow being reported near Reading.

North of M25?  It's a circle (roughly).  Which bit are you on about?

omg that reminds me of one of the first times i went t london by myself as a teenager, i asked this bloke where the train was going, and he said it doesnt go anywhere its a circle line train it goes round in a circle. i had never even considered such a thing existed and i felt a bit silly.:cc_confused:

@Daniel* Yes evaporative cooling is probably making the difference. Getting heavier here, but more snizzle than snow. Going to be a wet and muddy run for me today!?

Yes for some reason the heavy PPN is on the whole staying to the west and north of the London area, latest ICON. Met Office seem to have the same idea.

Quite strange if you ask me the heavier stuff appears to affect those more south looking at radar. Doesn’t match up with any of the above really.

White with frost this morning, very chilly with temp & dewpoint below 0c.. I'm remaining positive it'll snow for a time even here near the beach at 37m.

1c And overcast nothing falling out of the sky yet.

Same here in SWF.  0.4 °C, radar says snow/sleet at the moment, sky however says otherwise. Not even rain.

Well there is an air frost here this morning and now we have a few flakes of snow as well.

Yesterday was just awful, 2c and rain for most of the day.

Heavier precipitation arriving and definitely more snow than snizzle...nice surprise....can we get it heavy enough to settle.....i doubt it, but would be a nice added bonus ?
