Anyone on here from around Colchester? That big blob is on a direct course with London if its moving SW.

Yes that looks about the best blob for my area of the winter so far if it makes it.:)

It does... Unfortunately for me, Central London is just taking all the ppn away, yet it is re-forming the other side of the Capital. It's all gone either side of me so far. I hope others get at least a covering.

It's going SSW if anything, so East London and N Kent look great right now. Surrey and Sussex are looking to be getting something now!

I can't go to bed just yet... Not with that tantalising blob just to the Northeast of me! :D

It should surely be snowing with you right now?

No because the decent stuff just seems to skirt past me all the time, had a few bursts earlier though.

This is why most of the ppn missed Central London. See how the pressure drifts apart just over London? It has just blown everything either side so far. At least some will wake up to an unexpected dusting.

Well its still snowing here, temp has gone up slightly but its nice to get a small layer of settled snow, its melted on the main road though. Quite heavy at times, the main bit of the blob though went east of here.

Well, it appears that the main main 'bulk' (being courteous) of this event just missed me to the east, but I have to say:

What an epic level of crap this turned out to be....

It made it all the way down here, and considering it just brushed me, I've been blessed with....damp pavements and barely a consistent layer of cover over roofs...that's it.

Not worth it in the slightest...looking forward to milder days and sunshine now.

Plenty of time for milder days and sunshine throughout the year, there is still time for  a snowy period  in the next three or four weeks,
