Light snow for last two or three hours so technically a White Christmas. Just North of Glasgow. 1C.

Sleet yesterday evening and for an hour or so after midnight. Clearing skies during the early hours led to a ground frost and then a dry and mainly sunny start to this morning.

Moderate / heavy rain last evening continued until after midnight, clearing through the early hours. Clear spells developing, just missing a ground frost here this morning, though locally some patchy frost and ice while out on my run. Sunny spells.

Minimum temperature overnight 1.5∞C
