Shocking weather this morning with sleet mixed in and the wind rattling the letterbox . It's a good day for being near the fire looking  at the Christmas tree lights with a Miss Marple or Poirot on DVD and making some Christmas pressies .

I do hope that the snow matieralises for you folk in the snow zone though .

It feels colder than first thing this morning .

Gooe everyone is having a good day .

Anyone seen the latest radar? If you run it back, is that a LOW forming over north wales? There’s a hook which looks like it’s turning into one?

I think we need to fill the English Channel in to see an improvement in our chances or only allow electric cars on the M4 clearly it's all that traffic heat creating a thermal curtain

I wouldn;t bet against it being -10c or below in parts of the midlands tonight. It's already -4c in Pershore.

Indeed you were right. -10C to -12C which is exactly what the Met-Office minimum forecast was too, fair play.

It’s “closed” up now. Going to be interesting seeing the front come through but I’m not expecting anything other than rain!

Torrential squally hail/sleet shower moving through at the moment. Some quite impressive gusts to boot.
