More showers/lines of sleet and snow forming now and pushing into the region, may give another light covering with more over the hills.

We have a light snow covering! Not on the road itself, but on roofs, car tops, grass! :cold: :yahoo: Currently 0.8'C and Dew point is -0.55'C.

Just for some comparison.. whilst many in the Midlands are seeing snow falling and settling, Halkyn in North Wales at 300 metres above sea level is seeing rain and sleet. Shows you the influence of the sea. Also  rain here in Wirral at 100m asl. Thought that may be of interest to some given you in the line of the showers we are getting

I can confirm it was raining around Stafford on my journey to work. Can't believe there wasn't even a dusting of snow in Stoke this morning. Not convinced by today, let alone Sunday now.

An icing sugar dusting in Belper from overnight snow showers. It looks like this area is sheltered by the Peak District though, showers tending to die out on route to here. Much better further south and west, I may take a drive out shortly.

Sunday still looks interesting for these parts :)

Certainly no signs of rain here and am very surprised to here some places have rain and sleet, was expecting more though than we have but anyway let’s see what the day brings
