Low seems to be tracking right across the south, centre just on shore, is that where it should be. Looks like it will leave over kent unless it swings ne.

I'm not, just thinking it' not moving the way we thought. Still Won't bring snow to me. The hills by whitfield on the other hand, may be.

The centre of circulation is obvious on this radar grab

so the whole of the SE is being pumped with SW winds ATM

The wrap around is approx Bristol up to Hereford - that’s going to take about 8-10 hours to sweep across to us...

I would think it will take possibly less time for the temps to drop, but it will still be a marginal thing for our area depending on how heavy the ppn is as well as how quickly the dewpoints drop.

Here are the latest observations and you can really see the cold digging in around the Birmingham area, ahead of GFS forecasts for this time:

It's the old German DWD model revamped. Often quite close to the ecm output but not as good. I think it verifies below ukmo and similar to gfs

I noticed that interesting bodes well for later on, that’s what can make the difference between a slush fest and something more proper. Do you have a link to that? Ta :)
