Even if the forecasts hadnt moved the whole system way south, id still be worried because we have been in the cold air today and still only managed cold rain. Does anyone more knowledgeable know why it would be any different if this system from the south pushed up into this air as originally forecast?

Very unlikely

Meto still have amber for parts of north west evencthough most models say no chance. Environment agency and airports have premium info and are expecting something, if they knew it woukdnt make it up here why keep warnings unkess they think something mifht happen
