was in Oldham and Rochdale just after lunch and it was hammering down but up here, it's been mainly dry.

windy though and not exactly summer like but after yesterday's washout, not a bad day.

Apart from wind which has been anoying as trying to fix hiab crane to wagon, dry though.

A very poor weekend here in the end, hardly any brightness, it rained until about 4pm yesterday, dried up thereafter with a bit of blue sky, and the sun burst through for about a second. Today very blustery grey leaden skies throughout, some light showers through the afternoon. Miserable!

good mate, you keeping well?

Not a bad day in the look east area for weather today apart from the wind and cloud creeping in (and out and back in again).

Yeah I'm good, mum passed a couple of months ago, now it is all about getting up and moving forward, we are strong (like this pesky wind) and not giving in or up.

It is a typical Summer UK styles :D

Guess what? Another cloudy June Day dawns. At least it feels a bit warmer and not raining so far. I need to get out of this gloom soon!

Despite having developed hay fever these last two days it's 26c, sunny and feels like summer so I'm going to sit in garden with an ice cold cider whilst the homemade fish pie is in the oven for 30 minutes....
