Nothing here but temp still falling so must be close to a down draught.

Within 2 hours I expect lightning to start popping up nearby and by evening I expect many showers to start electrifying as they approach land.  Possibly snow chances after midnight or when dp goes negative, rain and graupel/hail until then.

Wonder why there's been no hail here?

Not posted here for a LONG time but this looks like the most hopeful for the Fylde  since Dec  2010. Coastal always doubtful but proper cold and fronts of the Irish Sea always interesting. BBC met has heavy snow Blackpool on Sunday...

you can see from marras post the trough that should sink south overnight quite nicely at 10pm

The WRF high resolution model also shows a second wintry spell at about 7am for us. It comes from the Irish sea and then sinks south.

Wind picked up noticeably this afternoon while I was out at work, and had a hail shower after 2pm... hopefully sign of things to come as temps falls away.  East of the region is looking to grab some wintery stuff early hours before the wind switches NW and takes the showers away.

Good sign, big drop then from 7.9 and 3.9. Keep going down.
