Yes i think its a bit early for those less than say 250m at the moment-

Bet its snow at the old original scouthead

Just checked the meto app and winds seems to be west or west north west through the night- no mention of NW winds..

Rain here as expected if anything the temps showing a degree higher than a few hours ago... hopefully more showers will follow later with better prospects of maybe something wintry overnight.  Irish sea appears to be showing a streamer rolling in.

 The flow i.e. the wind at steering height gradually veers WNW and then NW by the early hours. Surface winds do not veer as much.
