It’s just wet here ??

Hmm, don’t throw in the towel just yet, Aggy, coldest air not quite with us yet and hopefully that’s enough to turn showers to snow even for your coastal location.

Nothing to report from Broughty Ferry, showers have not made it this far (yet? :D)

Between 2 or 3 inches here and currently snowing, sea level Inverness has about an inch. -2c

Highland weather guy hinting that it may improve for any n eastern guys today "much of moray and Aberdeenshire has missed the showers overnight but will catch a few today"

Bonkers out there - just attempted commute and gave up!

Went onto M-8 at Livingston, the came off at Livingston West, full on heavy blizzard powered through and cannot see the lanes - motorway covered. Stuff driving in that - just asking for an accident.

IMO that road should have been closed until cleared.. GRRRR

Somebody remembered to fire up the Stirling (city) snowshield - sleety pish at best.

Not too bad here, I checked a couple of times in the night and was fully prepared to sulk and throw toys but have had heavy snow on and off from about 5.00 am.

Now having the do I try and drive to work debate.

Nope. Although the patches of ppn move when I switch the ppn type on and off :blink2:

I can't remember the last time we got snow from anything southerly. But here it is.

Very light dusting here and its still not all that cold or not as cold as i thought it might be - will it get colder today? Currently clear skies.

This is the warm up for later, the real damage should come between 6pm and midnight especially for the west. @Ruzzi, if the Euro4 is right expect about 10 inches of snow between now and midnight tomorrow...

Aww don't be a tease ??  I've purposely avoided looking too far ahead today cause I don't want a let down ? But I'd graciously accept 10 inches on top of the 3 inches I have. Got a wee mini drift starting to build against the fence in the driveway. Will post photos later once it develops a bit

I will cross my fingers that something makes it way this far East later on too. Loving the pics everyone. Good luck for today!
