Morning all,

A clear start, +1c.

Good to see HC getting snow ‘on the ground’ :D, for us coasties it’s a pretty rare treat.

Good thing I enjoy blue skies and sunshine because that’s all I’ll be seeing over the next few days!

Straw bought, unwrapped and ready! It is a NW'ly / N'ly and despite me hoping and model watching was never going to deliver here :D

Still no joy from Sunday's slider either as it's still modelled too far south although Mr Catch might do OK on current position!

For those in the Central lowlands looking for a crumb of hope into next week - don't!!! This has cold rain or sleety pish written all over it!!

Beyond that it's looking like another pish N'ly plunge. Still......better than a mild December!!!!

Yep, the typical 'bright blazing sunshine' here, with absolutely no indication that we're going to get anything else for the next few days :(  Really is a little disappointing when most other areas have at least something.... oh well :) Just trying to stay positive and hope this isn't our only chance....

Bright sunshine and blue skies, tiny frost but all in all a nice fresh morning .

Snow looks a bit iffy for here sadly , but you never know!

Still trying to scrape myself off the bathroom floor from when I fell over in shock. We probably have around 5cm lying snow and another shower has just topped that up. Never seen this here in early December.

Can I borrow some children to take sledging, all mine have grown up and either aren't interested or moved away. Nah, you're ok, I don't mind

Will be out for photos soon enough.

Family in coastal NI have been taunting me with snow pics this morning! Nice morning here though - cold, slight frost, blue sky. Plenty to be thankful for.

Latest models all pretty much agree on Sundays 'slider' being of no consequence to most of Scotland sadly.

Not much on the horizon next week either - the potential system on Wed looks to be a higher ground only affair:

Catch's Sunday dusting potential nicely illustrated :D
