Some great looking showers showing up on the radar and the folk in the Midlands have seen a few lightning strikes. But so far no luck here (if you want some rain) as it's still as dry as a bone. Please..... can I have just one downpour?!!!

Well the skies at the allotment this evening have been a delight! Light rain now but nowhere near enough. Can't explain those lines in the raincloud over the houses, not very clear on camera but beautiful.

The Wash showers are heading SW and the North Sea ones seem to just stay out in the sea. Bone dry here today again.

Nice to see a rash of showers on the radar pushing southwards. I believe here we have dodged every single one so much for a bit of rain...

I missed a cell by miles producing some rumbles, seemed to break up and head round me rather than as the radar suggest, head bang to me. But happy with what I had and nice to see some nice clouds!

Hefty showers north and east of London heading southwards. Surely I will get at least one today, last lot a bit too far east.

Lovely clouds and anvils on the school run, although looked like it was all missing me. But no. I missed getting totally hailed on by minutes bringing the bin in. Got some steady -ish rain now, all good for the garden,

Very dark, stormy looking skies here at the moment. If it was warmer I'd think there was a thunderstorm coming.

It's frustrating that such dark skies can produce two hail stones:wallbash:

A few showers here this afternoon, some quite large hail in these as well which gave my car a bit of a pounding.
