Afternoon  all,

 

I'm wondering if anyone can help me with a small query.

 

I'm going on one of the storm chasing tours in May and want to take my canon1200d.

A problem I'm having is that if I go on manual and adjust to infinity it does not go fully to infinity, I have to refocus slightly which means I lose clarity for night time shots. In fact it becomes a lottery.

I want to know if any members use an m42 bayonet attachment with older pre dslr lens with a modern dslr body .

I have a number of old style lenses which I hope will give better focus. 

 

Unless of course I'm missing something really simple!
