The main concern today is the storm surge down the east coast and possibility of life threatening floods, After that the wind chill and the mini  front traversing the country north-south this morning which may well dump some snow on some.

Looks mostly cloudy, after a clear start at midnight with a ground frost. The trough seems about here with snow falling at times and a wet road outside, a low of 0.7 C now on 2.0 C

-1c in deepest Warwickshire, but the wind chill is a shocker :cold::cold:

A spell of light-moderate snow early this morning after a dry night. The snow died out by 0800 and it's now dry and windy with sunny periods.

Early morning snow quickly died out and any small accumulations quickly disappeared away from the moors. Windy but not as windy as it could have been. First Snow of the Winter.
