after a quick late winter hibernation to recharge my batteries, I can declare that spring has come to WIltshire today!....absolutely glorious day, and nice and warm in the sun.....bring on the summer heat and storms

Clouding over a bit more now but apart from a few minutes earlier on it's been a lovely afternoon. 15.3°C earlier, now 13.4°C.

We tapped a birch tree at the weekend, got loads of delicious sap and made some syrup, but the flow is now really slowing down and we think it may be about to be time for bud break, so here come the fuzzy greenness in the woods again, great spring feeling!

And now it's clouded over again. Was nice while it lasted. Temperatures dropped to 9.8°C.

Interesting sat out in the garden for half an hour in warm sunshine watching low cloud encroaching from the SW and burning off time and time again before reaching overhead.

Now it's foggy. Went from clear sky to cloudy and now fog in the space of just over an hour.  

Feels much cooler now. 8.6°C.
