Started off with blue sky, then it turned hazy - which it stayed like.

Hello Karlos. I don't use C MX with my maplin station, I use http://weather.dragontail.co.uk/index.php?page=station_setup 

But if you get stuck with the general Rasp pi setup, OS, webserver, ftp, etc, give us a shout.

You'll get there. Nothing's magic.
