My kitten-cat (I don't how he's weather-related exactly?) is a bit of a nutter: He(?) likes food that I throw across the room, attacks my feet, and licks the skin off my scalp when I'm meant to be asleep...But he'll make a wonderful companion!:yahoo:

PS: I've just discovered that he's afraid of my Celtic drum!

Lovely cat chemikal.  Our ginger tom needed the sign of shame a few days ago.

I've just reported you to the SSPCA for cruel and unususal treatment of your cat!:p

Long time since we've had a cat that energetic - about 15 years probably... Two of them used to bat all the decorations aroundand run off with the tinsel. Current ones only interested in sleeping and pestering for butchery left-overs... and bird-watching...

Also, @chemikal, have played most Mogwai, loud, late and long... suits the melancholic side of my soul.  But it's party time with Ms HC tonite so it's 70s Sly n Robbie stylee :give_rose:

Some long rumbles of thunder currently keeping me awake.... That and the squally winds and hail hammering the window...

Happy Christmas Eve Folks :santa-emoji::fool:

In from the pub, had a few tasty bouts of snow on the way, taxi driver was from Tomintoul so we had a mutual love-in regarding the conditions. Off to sleep, God I'll be rough in the morn.. hope Murdo Fraser doesn't turn up in my dreams again, the pointless, rubber faced *edited by the mods* hammock that he is

There aren't enough words to truly articulate the pointlessness of Murdo Fraser

Morning Peeps! Big clap o' thunder in the wee small hours then nothing! Just a wee bit blustery here with occasional rain. Conor doesn't look as if he'll be as much bother as Babs, so we may we have roast tatties tomorrow at Chateau Misty! Cats are currently purring at my feet whilst I scoff my bran flakes. Mr MQ currently in charge of brekky arrangements but he seems to have forgotten the mogs!

After a fairly quiet night just had a very intense hailstorm and big cracks of thunder here

Yes was driving south of Glasgow at 00:30 and seen distant flashes from that Thundery Shower.. The wind picked back up around that time too quite a bit..

Clear and calm earlier today.  Temp 2C

Shiny crescent moon with a bright planet to the south east - Jupiter? I think - it was getting too light to capture a pic.

Some overnight snow on the hills.  Becoming quite grey and ominous now.

Snow-gates closed both ways on the B974

Met office app has just cancelled the wind warning for Falkirk. Quite blustery, wet and generally yuk out there at the minute. Very jealous of those of you with snow. :D

That's what I get for being a smug cow! Thought we'd got away with any damage yesterday, but NO! Big Babs lifted a rather large and heavy car ramp from the side of the garage, flipped it round and smacked into our old VW Golf, smashing the driver side window and leaving a big dent in the door. Insurance mannie says due to age of car ( 16 years young! ) it's not worth fixing. So I guess it'll be a write off. We await an assessor arriving sometime but I'm not expecting anyone before New Year.  :hi:Ach well, we were going to replace it sometime next year anyway, now we just need to do it a lot sooner than we anticipated! C'est la vie! :pardon:

Green with envy as well as the surplus mixed antifreeze... The 2 younger HCs are in the same boat today, they were in Inverness last night, texting me with reports of wild weather and wilder women... (no pictures tho...)

Had my head in the cooker all day so I'm not sure what kind of day we've had:rolleyes:   Certainly no snow!

Ah well folks, possibility of things turning a wee bit colder early new year so here's hoping.

Have a good one all, including the NW team.

Regards, Blitzen.:reindeer-emoji:

Here's another wee festive snippet to give you a giggle.    Those were certainly the days.............
