light rain, anything heavier a few flakes mixed in, either not cold enough or not heavy enough

a bit heavier now and more flakes some quite big will it drop temp enough though for it to stick?

Yep the Otley Gap streamer didn’t materialise in fact in this case it ended up pretty much avoiding it all together..lol.

Thats the nature of these showers some do pretty well and some get next to nothing.

Ahh well I’m sure they’ll be more opportunities before this winter ends. Especially with the slight upgrades on the models earlier..

The moors here ate all the snow showers bar one early on. Otherwise what did fall was light rain or drizzle in the afternoon. The only ice I came across was on the front and back windscreen first thing. All in all a long way from the Ice Armegeddon the over excited beeb forecasters referred to.

Another chance goes begging.  Wasn't expecting much to be fair but at least it would have been nice to actually see some snow falling.

20 minutes of drizzle and that was it!

Oh well snow is still falling at Day 5 onwards!

What a load of @#*t hate west and north west streamer setups. Pennines just eat it all. Had small sleety flakes for about 10mins. Hopefully looking at it some sort of e/ne flow to get us some proper snow.

Heavy snow here, near barnetby top in North Lincs. An inch in last 20 mins. Didn't think it would stick as ground was very wet and outside temp was +2.6c!!! Flakes are huge though and has built up a good thickness very quickly.

we are now up to 2" deep across back garden but snow has virtually stopped, heavy snow only lasted 40 mins. Mind you, it is still lovely to see and kids are really excited. Outside temp dropped to +1c so chance of this sticking through the night if temp drops a little further.
