Who cares about what happens over the next couple of days when the real prize is in sight on the ECW, if it's right that could be real winter weather.???

I never like those charts, I'm always just on the border between snow and rain or a bit far south and near the coast and in the rain ?? one day I'll be in the sweet spot for snow!

not likely to be borderline anywhere and at any altitude if the ecm easterly comes off - just cast your mind back to last years easterly beginning of march - altitude doesn't come into it once the continental feed starts digging in - Cardiff was awash with snow if you remember, it crippled the cowbridge area too if I remember, so you should've had a fair amount too Deepsnow I would have thought!!!

Doesn't look that good for south wales if I'm honest, does it take elevation into account?

As expected Andy strat warming now taking effect ,the models are now smelling the roses ,,could well see snow  any were across Wales before  Monday Andy, what is interesting about the upcoming cold spell the air is unstable air flow, so any were you can get a really good covering Monday into Tuesday looks very promising.
