If your in the red area you will need to extend that .

Though if it blows over your results will be declared null and void .

I think we need to have some ground rules for measuring drifts and snow depths .

Some will exaggerate some will be conservative .

I think the wooden sweeping brush should be the standard that all must use unless others can think of better devices ?

No cheating .

Good luck all .

This could divide the country in more ways than one .

West and East Wales .

The people’s democratic republic of west wales .( PDRWW)

The United States of East Wales.(USEW).

Lets build that wall !

We will get the Irish in to do it - especially Irish rugby fans .

Bridgend though would be an eerie no mans land .

You can keep Carwyn and the assembly - strict border controls when you come down here in the summer .

Damn we’ve only got Swansea airport though and that shed in Haverfordwest ...

Lots to sort out .

And all because the East stole snow from the West .

We really should just live in peace .

Andy I am coming over as a peace enjoy from the West but I will be demanding you give us our snow back .

This is non negotiable .

"Bloody Easterners, taking all our snow" ............ etc. :)

Just done a small edit to make this post more correct   Would mean some of us in the North could join in the fun as well.

I think that Emma has a couple of days of energy stored up inside her yet. She's going to sit down South of Ireland, spin around anticlockwise and throw bands of moisture our way although the one for this afternoon and evening looks like the real deal! Places with lying snow and lower surface temp should ensure that any further precipitation is white this weekend. Red warnings so not get thrown like confetti from the big brains in Meto Exeter - people must heed them!

Really cold in Pembroke Dock now and I mean bitter, can't ever remember being THAT cold starting the car and driving in.  Bit disappointed that we appear to be downgraded but yet all of the schools here will close at 1pm today and will remain closed tomorrow.

HIRLAM gives us westerners hope

Still though, even on this model parts of Carmarthenshire look like the only place in Wales to not get some decent snow

That is so unfair for that dry area .

Deep snow for hundreds of miles all around that little circle of nothingness .

Haha it's sickening, even Penzance looks like it's accumulated more. We've just got to laugh at this point I think

Check the METEOX radar for what's coming from the South. Next serving is big and looks to have most of South Wales in its sights followed by another interlude before another course brewing up over Iberia. A great moisture supply if the synoptics stay fairly similar.

The crying circke of doom .( CCD).

Mean Andy up in his ivory tower on that mountain wildly cackles “ mine mine it’s all mine muhahahaha “ whilst those poor utterly devastated CCD folk try to come to terms with this travesty .

Crowd funding required for crying circle of doom folk .

We can all chip in and send some councillors up there ??

Right , I need to concentrate and get some work done .

Too much time faffing about on this site like a excited little boy before Christmas .

Self imposed two days off but must do paperwork as will not be able to concentrate later .

Very little sleep later ...

It’s all a bit pathetic here at the moment. Very fine stuff and light now.

Hi jay

Some of us must travel to keep others safe, I was supposed to finish at 9am today, but 2 accidents and a fire mean i actually finished at 11am, i have to be back in BY 6pm - which means i must travel during red alert  (5pm ) to get in by 6pm.

There are people making journeys that they could and should avoid, but some others are essential workers

Interesting to know if anyone posts in here from Newport bit further north across from the Severn. Shower has rapidly expanded from N Bristol as it crossed the Severn.

Was told that you are not insured if there is a red warning

Checked with my son who is a manager in admiral and his words were

It all depends what happened, so reading it as if its a weather related accident you might be on a sticky wicket, if your car gets broken into you might stand a chance or if your car was stationary parked up somewhere
