honestly. do a screen cap of two hours ago and now on NW radar, and tell me anywhere west of Cardiff is a bust. I'd post them if i didn't think I'd get a row for doing so. lol

points west of swansea are about to be hammered, as are points east. if anything me here in Maesteg might miss out slightly in comparison, smack in the middle of those two blobs, but i am very happy so far with what is falling, and will fall. i think the hills around here will play a role too and pep up things.chill out everyone, this is an epic event.

This is becoming a generational event in Tenby.

Isn't that a Jackson Pollock?

Still got bare patches on the driveway and back patio, but can no longer see any longer bits of grass. Snow will be in the hallway if I open the front door.

My measuring system: Tough to know how much I've had, but an empty box of cat food blew out of the recycling this morning and ended on the grass on its side. Completely covered now Amazon tells me the box measures 38.2x 19.8x 14.2cm. So I reckon I've got at least 15cm. More to come too. Best event I can recall.

And yes, I have got friends too! :o

on the NW extra radar i reckon it is strengthening well. where there were blues all around me in Maesteg a short while ago, now there are greens, it seems to be pepping up all around me here

I would be lying if I said i wasn't slightly disappointed that after all this so far I still don't have a full cm's covering of snow on the ground considering the hype. Compared to what been seen in many other places, not all far away esp if we do miss this snow if the front splits!
