It really is, so whilst really pleased for everyone else, looking over to White Rock and seeing the snow left me feeling a bit miffed this morning. I hope we'll see some as forecast but it's standing rain here so the surfaces need to dry off a bit. Also the BBC and Met websites have our temp hovering at 1 whilst the BBC forecast still shows 7?

if it's 7c outside i'll eat my hat lol - more like -7

meanwhile it's a blizzard outside

The snow keeps shifting from North/South so I think the wind must be kicking up. I've got around 1 degree here, and it's not going to get any warmer. Ice later is going to be difficult for all those who have to drive or get out today - bet the supermarkets will be busy!

not a day to be going anywhere in this - safer to keep warm and stay home - roads will not be a pretty place to be even in 4x4s

Got a warning tweet from South Wales Police - do not go out unless absolutely necessary. No worries on that front at all

Heavy snow in Swansea colder air moving south should last until tea time ,las the front pivots and fizzle out, once in snows in Pembroke a Welsh white out.

Been snowing since 5 am on top of yesterday’s laying snow. Very fine snowflakes heaven then light bursts.  Road through village drivable in 4x4 should you have one.  My lovely next door neighbours (not with 4x4) s t off about 8am to drive to Southampton to catch ferry to France.  They are mad.

I bow to your ramping- superiority! Give me a minute and I'll get the beers in.
