Snow Still laying here with treacherous black ice in places.

Not expecting disruptive snow tomorrow but a few heavy showers would be good.

Will likely be the last of the white stuff until after Christmas so enjoy it if you get it.

Well we can’t complain to be fair. BBC mentioned disruption so who knows.

Not getting any hopes up. The slider drama really drained me. Every county around us saw snow falling at some stage, we had rain, sleet for about 5 minutes then rain again. Dropping the missus to work this morning wiping the ice off the windscreen, then looking up at the snow in the Dublin mountains as I headed into town... So flipping frustrating. I'm staying away from the MOD thread and meteociel too for a few days.

Looks like you might see some tomorrow albeit short-lived affair, however ,  based on some of the experts in the MOD thread, we have a better chance of an Easterly in next few weeks and months than is previous number of years.. Dublin is usually in the sweet spot for east wind snowfall so hopefully your time will come for proper snow

BS

Ice warning issued by metO so they musn’t be concerned about any accumulations of snow this evening and into tomorrow.

i would say the grounds to wet anyway due to the thaw and the heavy showers pushing through.

The back edge of the last shower that passed through loughmacrory was snow. I think higher ground might get some half decent action.

Sounds good, it's very wet now though. I'm in Lisburn now at work but it was snowing proper when I left home at 11am, nice white flakes going through Dungannon too.
