Anything that falls should be wintery, whether it sticks will be down to length of precipitation and time of day etc. I'd rate lowland Dublin about 20% chance but Wicklow hills at %95

I just had a wee look through the last few pages of the model thread. Completely lost with some posts completely non model related and certain people going on a pure ego trip!! Tough reading. Lol

Met office app showing heavy snow for me on Wednesday, Thursday (ice day too!) and Friday. Excitement building!!

Taken with pinch of salt, as always.

Not 1 snow symbol showing for Derry. Lol

Them forecasts are terrible dont rate them lol im thinking widespread 5cm snowfalls atleast for the north & west ireland and more for favoured locations.

I take them with a pinch of salt Boofer. Just watching this run roll out. More of a northerly direction that previously modelled?

That ECM really has cemented my faith in the cold spell at the end of the week. Can't help but get excited at some of the wintery potential we could experience!

As bad as the winters have been recently, parts of up north havent done too bad with snow ,ok not exactly snowed in or anything but the best the country has done these last few yrs. Looks like the northwest will be in the firing line again. Not too confident i will see much but maybe i might be surprised.
