Thursday's warning has been updated no real change for our region.

Yes still expecting a showery regime, will be hit and miss most likely, still thinking quite a few places will catch some snow showers, even through thur night

Latest met o update forecast IMBY for tomorrow suggests showers on and off all day - winds W to WSW then NW. Not cold enough for snow early doors but temps suggested to drop mid morning with snow showers from then on for here at least.  For me at least this will be the most accurate forecast to follow over the next 36 hrs or so.

Gusting 60-65mph here pretty wild but sunny blue skies.....  met looks good for snow here atm.... my brother in Birkerod Denmark has 10cm snow blowing sideways and drifting....

Think that shows accumulated by fi morning mate, think it will be wrong i expect more and the beeb forecast i just watched did show snow showers piling into our neck of the woods thur evening, much as gfs6z showed.

I'm comfortably in the warning, however im quite confident and i hate to say it... nearly all of these showers will be rain. I'd much rather be in your position!

Well there is not much over Scotland considering so I can only assume it's wrong or the total accumulation is not from the initiation.... (maybe 3 hour steps?)

Amazing how the South is going to do better than us off a North Westerly.

How marginal has this turned out...! - coupled with near coastal position non event on the cards.

Even Cumbria is dry....

Will see.

It is not as good a northwesterly as it was shown a couple of days ago. The shortwave that will affect the south tomorrow looks like reducing our shower activity and the northwesterly flow. The winds get slack reducing the showers and after it clears the south there is a small oppostunity for us before the wind turns more northerly therefore inland areas stay mostly dry. Let's hope for a bit more of a northwesterly in the next update.

Wind veered 10deg in the past two hours.  Will check again around 1pm

Edit: My bad, earlier direction was 290deg, wind strength has increased from 24kt to 28kt with 40kt gusts.

Well themanchester 6z GEFS still have a signal for decent precip thur into fri so im still confident the showers will move inland in the cold unstable flow.

One thing for sure there will be no Snow on the Costa Del Wirral.

If you think that, then you're silly.

Looks fantastic for us all tomorrow night

The 6z euro 4 shows organised wintry showers midday tomorrow for the southern half of our region. Snow mainly on hills. http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-bin/expertcharts?LANG=en&MENU=0000000000&CONT=ukuk&MODELL=euro4&MODELLTYP=1&BASE=-&VAR=prty&HH=30&ZOOM=0&ARCHIV=0&RES=0&WMO=&PERIOD=

Then dry for us with a significant dumping of snow south/southeast England.

Interestingly, it gives light snow showers tomorrow midnight.

Why're you down as 'Greater Liverpool'? We're still Halton/Cheshire?

Ah, the world's most inaccurate PPN charts. Why anyone uses those, I have no idea.
