A cloudy and mild night. Overcast so far this morning, breezy. A mainly cloudy though warm day followed. Slight drizzle after mid afternoon. Some late afternoon and early evening sunny spells.

A surprisingly warm and humid afternoon in Manchester- the temperature suddenly jumped up this afternoon and we've managed 23C- a good few degrees higher than forecast. Very good for the last week in September. Absolutely loving the higher dew points today.

Eventually turning warm but cloud pegged the temps back most of the day. A more prolonged spell of sunshine did the trick now cloudy again.

Breezy but still feeling warm, muggy with Td=18 and a max of 22 C or so in spite of a mostly cloudy day with brief spells of sunshine. Quite pleasant, warm enough to don my aqua outfit and lift all the pond plants out for cutting the excess growth off.
