A short period of heavy rain yesterday evening followed by mainly dry and cloudy weather until around 0400 when light rain and drizzle, accompanied by hill fog, moved in from the west. The drizzle cleared by 0800 g.m.t and the cloud has since broken to allow a few sunny intervals.
