Got some ac cas just appearing now to spite the cool breeze and low temps. The humidity is still up high at 79, and the dp hasn't dropped either.

Flash flooding could be an issue especially in urban areas across London and Southeast.

Unbelievable.,

A measly mm of rain forecast for here according to this while 30 miles away get 80x the amount.

lol.

Roll on winter.

EURO4 - hard to read but looks like 158mm somewhere in London in the next 24 hours!

Surprised the warning isn't an orange really - that's a serious amount of rain

Or maybe the GFS will be right with about 3mm lol

It's impossible to pinpoint exactly, it's why such a large expanse of southern England is under a warning.

Euro4 has some very concerning rainfall totals for London area, the ground is baked hard, factor in all those concrete surfaces there's the potential for serious flooding according to it. An orange at least.

Well it took until midday to break up the persistent haar and fret from the north sea and managed to reach 25C. That cloud is beginning to move back in here with the wind seemingly stuck to the NNE or pretty much the worst wind direction possible as it originates from the wash or the only direction with a short land track. There is some altocumulus floating around suggesting some slight elevated instability.
