It is, but i'm still not happy. The software is limiting me unfortunately. I need to scale the image down, as it draws to much bandwidth and slows me down. It's a 2K camera with a microphone as well. :/

I`m sure you`ll get there

Showers look potent before the cross the Bristol Channel, but look nothing more than a light shower once they crossed over.

All the action seems to be slightly further North and East of you

Yep, and what does come over the channel is weakened as it does so - end up as plain old rain showers.

At least the garden gets watered.

I feel your pain, The Wash over here blocks off and weakens anything that occurs, all the North-West Norfolk residents like to think of it of our own Snow and Thunder barrier to protect us :D Unfortunately its not great as I absolutely love both of them, and have only had 1 snowfall and 1 daytime thunderstorm in 3 years, the thunder was yesterday

Good luck getting anything though, you definitely still have a chance :)

Sounds similar to over here, but I been waiting for an overhead storm for 10yrs & I last had lying snow 3-4yrs ago

Looking at radar imagery, Will, there's a defined 'hook' signature to the storm over there, so a tornado is on the ground. Get into your storm shelter! Quick!

The one time we had snow on the floor it didn't stick for longer then 5 hours overnight :nonono:I count snowfall as a few flakes mixed in with sleet or rain now.. its so rare of an occurrence its frustrating!

That line of cells yesterday afternoon looked great, did you not get a good show there? Enjoyed a nice pulse storm at about 6pm yesterday passing west of Norwich. It didn't me but enjoyed increasingly increasing thunder and when I went out of the city to a viewing field. 2 white CG bolts close in front of me with shotgun thunder 5 seconds after to finish proceedings.

Those storms yesterday did satisfy my thirst for activity, not expecting anything else for a few more years! 2 main roads in Hunstanton were closed from flooding, friends in local villages were discussing on facebook how they were stuck in as the lanes were submerged! The rain at one point was so bad that when I looked out the front window I couldn't see the houses across about 10 metres away, bit scary! Then the lightning which struck the houses surrounding us with the shotgun thunder.. Yes was definitely worth the long wait. Haven't had a storm with constant thunder rumbling for 4 hours straight like that since Nottingham storms at least 10 years ago.

Better luck next time, William. You still have a chance, never lose hope!

(I'm only so optimistic now because of my thunder yesterday :D)
