Oh no its been said! :)

Was that the same one reported?

To keep on topic, noteable difference to the track of storms that have split. Both heading west but the one near Birmingham is moving more north and the other to the south is moving in a more southerly direction.

Can confirm our low level cloud is now travelling in a more NE direction

Currently necking a nice KFC whilst watching those beefy cells head east towards me in huntingdon. Looking like I may strike lucky soon, then I may head further towards the M11 where the 2nd batch is looking to hit. Cambridge I reckon would be a good bet.

OMG, it ain't half gone dark! Massive convection just away to the SSW, the noo. Is my headache going to be rewarding with some flash, bang, wallop?:bomb:

Whatever - it's lights on!:D

Yep looks like Bedworth has some showers at the moment no strikes showing yet

I noticed that the shower was more intense west of Bedworth, seemed to of calmed down in Gordon's neck of the woods.

Stopped raining and the sun came out for a little while this afternoon but has clouded over now. No where near as hot or humid as it has been earlier this week and still feeling quite cool. However...skies darkening to my west and its headed in my direction...

Clearing from the West now with cells to our North and East seemingly being ripped apart

It is forecast for showers and storms to start dropping more southerly as the day wears on. GFS latest run is showing that. I suspect storms will roll into the evening with lingering MLCAPE which nocturnal cooling could trigger reinvigeration.

Looks anything but a bust from here! Going very black on the SW horizon now.

Wow, thats a great picture. Look at the base on that thing! Is that a wall cloud on the lower right? It looks pretty ominous and we know the area has famously had tornados in the past...

Although I'm unlikely to see anything interesting, my eyes on are showers just N/NW of Swansea as they may just clip to my North. Still looking promising as the evening wears on for some central/eastern areas.

Other than that, a lovely sunny day and a nice breeze to lower humidity.

Cheers......I wouldn't say wall cloud just a low level cell at a bit of distance   yep we still have some low level shear in the area so still looking out for funnel development:)

Yeah I wasn't sure if it was just scud but looked a bit more organised. It's hard to tell sometimes! As I said though, beautiful pic mate. :)

Huge tower well to the North of here, could only really see it as the top was outflowing, very dark to the North also. Have plenty of sun here and decent convection and also a decent strong wind to boot.
