A perfectly acceptable day here, 23/24C across the region with fairly low humidity and a gentle westerly breeze.

Max of 22.6C here. Probably would have reached 23-24C but the cloud cleared an hour late.

A cracking start to the day here - not a cloud in the sky and already 17.8C. Shame the cloud will soon build and spoil things.

Back from my 2 weeks hols in Germany (sorry to report no big storms) and my rainfall gauge shows only 2mm of rain so far this July. Despite some rain forecast for this Weds/Thurs (typically 5mm to 10mm for our Region) it seems fairly certain that Suffolk will go from a very wet June (over twice the 50mm average) to a very dry July, falling well short of the 60mm long-term average.

There was a 25% chance of a record breaking heatwave in August, a few days ago, that seems to have vanished now, still warm enough out:good:

Been cloudy and rainy looking all day, although quite mild. went for a nature walk with bubs for a rainbows badge and it was very nice out.

Not much happening weatherwise today, so here is a photo of my cat sniffing a courgette I grew in my garden.

A very ho-hum kind of day, a lot of cloud this afternoon with temperatures bang on the seasonal average.

Stayed sunny till dusk here. This house is like a sawner in the sun, south facing. Cooler at the back though, however the kids have the back rooms.

Dry streak over, it's raining lightly. Dry 14th til 26th, not bad at all.

After a wet start, it's now brightened up nicely, with sun out and plenty of blue sky, currently 22C

Not a bad afternoon after a wet morning. Sunny spells and it feels pretty warm out there, temperatures between 22 and 24C.

Rather pleasant and mild. About 23-24C, this has been technically the wettest day of July with 2mm but all trace of it has gone and its bone dry out there.

Lets hope it stays that way through August. I have bucket loads of rain to look forward to from October to March - Bone dry ground will be a distant memory.

I make the most of dry ground in this country - it doesn't happen very often.

Can't believe this was not forecast but it's now 25c outside at 4.53pm after a pretty chilly rainy morning/afternoon.

Seems that the warmer air still around for us in the south East

Afternoon peeps a very few and I min few drops of rain this morning before the sun came out and now it's very pleasant once more..

I see the typical netweather doom and gloom headline.. Hasn't rained here now properly for over 2 weeks!! Exceptional for UK standards and in summer!!

Looking at the charts to.. If you don't like dry and warm maybe hot then best start packing..

This always gets me, the forecast can be massively different in this country even within a few 100 miles
