It's been lovely here with strong sun and a bit cloudy, but the breeze to keep it nice. Looking forward to the scorchio next week....tomato plants will be well chuffed:) just nice to feel warm air at last!

Mostly cloudy all day, brief glimpses of the sun and quite windy at times. At least the air is a bit warmer. And it's raining. Roll on summer.

Cloudy humid and set to get worse, how can anyone like  this at 26c.

Need some cool breeze, sun and no humidity.

Its still 23c yuk yuk yuk.

Agree with the cloud bit . But hey we haven't even had decent enough weather for my kids to enjoy a paddling pool and bbq (apart from one day in May )that's terrible for a summer and to think us in the southeast have got away with the best of conditions.

BBQs no probs this year.

However agree with the paddling pool, kids not even suggested it yet, well until today me thinks.

A lovely 23C here at 11am, shame about all the cloud, please go away! Am feeling so sun starved. This week looks very interesting, some gorgeous temperatures and chances of some serious storms. And I've got the week off work :)

25c with sunny spells and fair weather cloud. A nice westerly wind today. We could hit 27c somewhere today.

I've been keeping track of temperatures by hour since 8am and its sure to say its a hot day today!

08:00 - 19.2c

09:00 - 20.4c

10:00 - 20.9c

11:00 - 22.4c

12:00 - 23.9c

13:00 - 24.8c

Its currently 13:28 and its 25.4c... Hottest day of the year so far, with the next three days gradually hotter once again in my location :) (We've had unbroken blue sky since before I woke up!)

I love it, just wish the humidity didn't come along with the sun and high temperatures.. Tomorrow possibly 27c, Tuesday 29c with 30c possible in my location for Wednesday :yahoo:

Hoping for the storms to come along afterwards, anyone know if theres much of a risk to the ending half of this week for storms in Norfolk?

24.5C and rising, and with the cloud it feels more like 30C, summer has arrived, and more sunny hot weather to come:).

It has just been drizzling with rain, wasnt expecting that today, apart from looking at the radar half hour ago.

Also it feels cooler for a bit yipppeee.

27C right now with quite extensive cloud cover 2 to 3 degrees up the forecast. :good: 

Not had a hot day yet this may be subjective the Scots would be running for the hills, personally anything above 29C is hot according to the AROME model tommorow will be hot 30C could be on the table.

got to love the UHI.....

Sunshine amounts have been increasing as the afternoon goes on, up to 26C here, we might scrape a 27C before things tail off from around 5pm. London city airport the hot spot at 27C.

Edit - Cambridge and Heathrow now at 27C as well.
