No outside tap, unforch! And not practical to shove a hose out the bathroom window due to location. I hate living in a flat.

Damn, hope it rains every week then until October to water your garden.

:D Thanks. I'm at the end of my tether so I put my name on the allotment waiting list last week...and they have an outside tap, hurrah!!

Heard thunder few miles south of High Wycombe a few moments ago.

Well bang goes another evening cricket game with work.... Hope we get some decent sun this weekend. I feel very bereft of sun and heat this year.

Thunder to my north, west and south-east which generated a heavy shower over my location - that's tonight's watering done, then!:)

lots of cloud, medium drops of rain, spitting all day long, although felt very mild and humid. only a breeze when bubs dropped her umbrella and i had to chase it along the road. Watched all the bright echos go blue then back to heavy once out of bedfords way, but that's how it goes with weather coming from the direction it is.

At least with a rain coat on i didn't feel over dressed.

Been raining for hours here. Almost like it's just stuck. Exactly what you want when it's snow. Look at radar for Herts.

Ooh best thing you'll ever do, get an allotment! Might not feel like it in the first year though hehe. It's so important to have a patch of land, especially for flat-dwellers. Fingers crossed for you :)

Well we had a solid hour of heavy to torrential rain yesterday afternoon, just in time for me to walk home from work. After that it was cloudy with periodic bursts of rain. There is still some residual cloud this morning but also some breaks so hopefully we will get some sunshine before more showers develop.

It's not fair. Everything is breaking up before it reaches me, as the weather is coming from the same direction as yesterday.

I hope so! I'm looking forward to being outside a lot more. Might even be allowed a weather station on the shed, who knows! (management of my flats told me I couldn't have one!)

Although my tiny garden loved the rain, I'd rather be traipsing up and down the stairs and have the opportuney to go to the park and enjoy some sunshine. I walked home in that rain showers and hour ago...and even though I had a waterproof coat on, I was cold...COLD!! in July!!

And it's stair-rods again, and near-vertical stair-rods at that! Any chance of a dry one tomorrow?

Tell management that the weather station is a hi tech scarecrow, might work as a lot of management tend to be a bit dim.:ninja:
