I think I'm going to miss out on this but good luck everyone from Essex and north.

Generally do well in my area from northern France.

Trying to imagine what it must be like under the more northern part of that area of activity. Must be constant strobing and relentless roaring of thunder.

It'll dip it's toes into the North Sea and go "nope..nope...abort..abort..commence operation wet mess with odd rumble"

It's been meandering around the Netherlands most of the day and shown little sign of budging much. It's meant to get a move on later tonight but as it's less unstable here the area may lose it's electrification.

The northern third of that area is far and away the most active. Around Rotterdam and The Hague not bad but the rest look like its dying.

Plenty of fresh strikes appearing over the sea which is rather encouraging.

I'm guessing Scotland is out of the question as far as these storms are concerned
