Far from sticky here, last night. Clear skies allowed it to get down to 13.3°C

Cloudy start this morning, but the sun is breaking through now. Currently 21.3°C

What a lovely warm spell the last three hours have been lol. Actually had some sun to lift the temperature. The weakness of the sun is quite noticeable however.

The 'heat' will be long forgotten by tomorrow with much fresher air in place but also with more sunshine.

Funny old day. Quite clear very early but then the St rolled in on pretty fresh ESE wind that was gusting 30mph. The old ESE effect again. The wind dropped around lunchtime and the cloud quite rapidly dispersed leaving a pretty good day.

Warm beach day down in St Ives. Nice cooling trough just passing through.

More rain to come in a couple of hours looking at the radar.

Quite breezy today, but sunny from the start. I'm getting some very erratic wind directions, must be due to a Westerly, but getting turbulence from the house. All should be fixed soon - my wireless transmitter for the Anemometer has arrived from Germany. :D

Some early rain caught the early risers (me included) not lasting long but dampening the surfaces (and me).

Currently 20.7°C so a bit cooler than the past few days..

After a fresher, very pleasant September day some high level cloud arriving - maybe some lightish overnight rain?

19C at moment.

It looks showery tonight, heavier further West then turning lighter further East.

Amazing that the weather is set to repeat the changeable Friday, wet Saturday, iffy Sunday then increasingly warm/fine from Monday until the end of next week!

The last 3 Saturdays have been 1. very showery, 2. very thundery and 3. very wet and it seems set to become the 4th in a row this week.

It has been gusty most of the day, here. It did die down, now it has picked up again.

A cloudy start to the day here, a very brief shower 10 minutes ago. Very mild again 19C at 7am.  Looks like a slow improvement today  but a wet spell on the cards for tonight/tomorrow morning.

It started off sunny, then clouded over, now it's back to sunny spells.

I'm getting the anemometer put on the chimney this afternoon. It SHOULD be straightforward, but as ever, things are bound to go wrong lol

She's up! The problematic part was getting the ID's correct on the ISS and the new transmitter. You have to move 1 of 3 dip switches to the up position, then go in to setup mode on the console, and configure it to read from both the ISS and the new transmitter on separate ID's. I could get the wind, but then no temp/humidity/rain, then I could get the former, but not the wind. The instructions are cack. so I phoned Davis, and he ran through exactly what I had been doing, but it suddenly worked! It absolutely pee'd down just as it was being put on the chimney. Anyhow, already broken today's high wind gust, within minutes of it being installed.

It's now at around 35 feet up (around the height for proper wind measurements) and normal service has resumed. It'll probably get struck by lightning next week.

Some late evening sun after the cloud and rain took it's time to clear earlier. Temp now 17C, humidity down to 79% with clearer weather.

Hopefully last night's rain will enable me to dig the allotment - been like concrete the last few weeks!

20mm of rain today, the last 4 Saturdays have provided a combined 51mm!

Much fresher this evening and dropping off at 14.4c so likely to be pretty autumnal in the morning before the return of heat from the South.

Beautiful day here with near wall to wall sunshine. Spent the day walking on the coast path from St Austell to Mevagissey. Stunning coastline. :D

Love the area and actually a lot of Cornwall in general! Used to go on summer holidays there with the whole family.
