Does anyone care any more lol.

Seeing as latest MO update says odd shower with no wintry mentioned and temps at 7c again I very  much doubt it.

This cold spell would be very good in the middle of Africa. :diablo::diablo:

yeah I don't really care if it snows or not. Well I say that, I want a pair of brown long boots and I need an excuse to buy them.

Just as I want an excuse to be able to buy shorts and a few new dresses for summer.

who knows, I may need the boots for the summer and the shorts for christmas. Guess it's win win either way.

Well there was a little light snow/graupel overnight with another frost. As for today, another day of sunny spells and patchy cloud.

Most likely... Showers advancing northwards into evening largely west of London according to ECM.

ben I never said I accepted this, it is not meant to be a fall proof run it is taken with a pinch of salt by many. Don't you think there is more established forecasters on here that don't look that far ahead it is FI. anything 120-144hours is FI. the main national forecasts do not go past 72hours at best of times. If and this is a big if you think that it is as easy as you say it is spend more than five minutes in the MOD thread. try and build a forecast and then if it doesn't come true hold your hands up. I believe their forecast which is updated daily is going to change daily. Why wouldn't it oh yes the only time it wont change is if we are in the middle of a heat wave.

The point here is as was said above is that it was 5+ days accuracy from all charts falls away after 4 days. proven stats are in the mod thread today.

Best scenario for you if you are going to be so critical is to open your curtains in the morning and see what it is doing.....

I continue to enjoy watching the weather long and short range. Plus if you look at GFS ECM and the dartboard lows, how often when they are first progged do they actually remain that way. so 5 days out shows a low pressure system incoming then it changes due to the models what else is there to say that in FI it changes.........

Dinner tonight consists of a cup of organic gruel that my wife thinks will make me healthy.  There is also organic bread where there will be the sport of tapping out the  weevils.  Not for the vegan it would appear.

Sausages and curly fries for me...

Oh wait it appears the curly fries have been downgraded to regular chips.

You cannot avoid the downgrades in this life!

Still partly cloudy outside.
